The Blarney Blitz 5K is Central Illinois' St. Patrick's Day themed race.

In 2018, over 900 participants started their St. Paddy's celebration with the Blarney Blitz!!  The event takes place the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day - March 16, 2019 - and includes a 5K run/walk, post-race party with LIVE Irish music, food, green drinks, and a shamROCKIN' good time!!!  

We kick everything off with a 5K run/walk at 8:00 AM, and then finish up at Kelleher's Irish Pub on Water St. for a St. Paddy's Party that won't disappoint!
