 Kids and adults alike will be fascinated by the boat’s tall fluted stacks and gigantic candy-apple red paddlewheel churning through the water. It’s great entertainment for all ages. Trip includes Captain’s Commentary. Gift shop and concessions are available. No reservations required.
These cruises are an hour and a half-long. They begin and end at the riverfront dock in downtown Peoria, with the Spirit cruising up and down the Illinois River.

In the style of Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding, THE LEBANESE / REDNECK WEDDING is an original interactive, improv comedy. William (Billy) Couri is a freshman congressman having just been elected to the House of Reps. His bride Trina (Not short for Katrina) Mott is a weekend on location reporter for WHOI-TV. Hilarity ensues when Billy's traditional Lebanese family (a pillar in Peoria) and Trina's gun toting, NASCAR loving, camo wearing kin mix!

One of the Peoria Park District’s signature events returns to the RiverFront in 2016. The first day (8/5) of the River City Soul Fest celebrates Gospel music with a variety of local choirs and performers. Gospel star Dpttie Peoples will headline the evening!
Day two (8/6) will feature more local talent on stage to open for the R&B headlining acts: SWV & Silk!!
